Fallout 4 Saves Gone Pc
Where are the save games stored? I want to create a copy of them but I cannot find where they're stored!
Where do I need to look to find my save files?
kalinakalinaFallout 4 Save Game 100% Done. The time has come. The game that we all have been waiting for is out and completed! As a hardcore fallout fan, we want you to know we played 24 hours a day non stop to complete the game and get the save game as fast as we can. So I have Fallout 4 on Steam, and I had been (Now disabled) using Steam Cloud to sync my saved games. I kinda like accidentally load the previous saves instead of the latest one and the game saves got overwritten. I know there is a save folder as the My Games Fallout 4 saves where there a.FOS files.

On the PC version of the game, save games are stored in My Documents > My Games > Fallout4 > Saves. ('%userprofile%DocumentsMy GamesFallout4Saves')
My PC has the save location at:
Where $OSDRIVE is the drive letter of my operating system (windows 7), and $USER is the name of the logged in user.
example: C:Usersuser1234DocumentsMy GamesFallout4Saves

After thirty three hours of gameplay, and some major advancements in the story, I updated my copy of Fallout 4. I am playing it on an Alienware alpha, and the technical problems in this game have been sizable, but not enough for me to put the game down. After updating today, I found that all of my saves are gone. Every single one of them. After exploring the directory to try and find those saves, I am left unsatisfied. I am still smarting from the last major Bethesda release that fucked me, Skyrim on the PS3. Now this. I understand why people want to give these games a pass, or at least criticize them from the perspective that Bethesda does things that no one else does. But man I am getting sick and tired of getting screwed by these games.
