So Half-dragons, though confusingly like dragonborn, are distinctly different.
From the MM: 'By way of compensation, half-dragons are blessed with long life. Barring unforeseen misfortune, a typical half-dragon's life expectancy is twice that of its nondraconic line, so that a half-dragon human might live more than a century and a half.'
Or, an elven half-dragon might live 1400-1800 years. With some magical help they could easily break 2000.
So, a wizard with 1000 years to find spells. A necromancer with 1000 years to slowly amass zombie followers. A rogue-mastermind with 1000 years to create his organization.
TL;DR: half-dragon's with elven parentage can live to almost 2000 years. #SuperVillainStatus
