Bb Cream Garnier Matte Finish Review
Yes, I love it…! Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream is a winner however, not in the sense that it has a ton of coverage. Sorry kids, this is a sheer BB Cream….! But I love it because it does exactly what it promises! Provides luminous coverage that basically perfects your face and makes for a flawless experience.

Lovely!
Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream ($8.99-$9.99 depending where you purchase) that was created with a Tone Perfect Complex that works on dark spots and visible fades them. No I can’t say if this is working but I generally like the idea that it might just be treating my dark spots during application.
Let’s take a look!
In all honesty if you’re a chronic user of BB Creams and have experience Korean BB Cream formulas you are in for a little disappointment with Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream because it does run sheerer. When you’re used to the coverage of a Korea BB Cream it is backpedaling slightly when you’re using something this sheer as it feels more like a tinted moisturizer. Another disappointing aspect is the lower SPF 15. However, if you can get past both these issues I think you’ll love this formula as much as I do.
Honestly, it’s like a high quality tinted moisturizer for ten fracking bucks. SCORE! It comes in a Light and Medium shade selection so it does limit options to who can use it but since it is so sheer it’ll likely universally fit a broad range of shades without look too pasty or unnatural.
This comes in a squeeze tube that’s a generous 1.5 oz size. It has a soft delicate rose scent which is very subtle. The formula is rich, very creamy, and applies easily onto skin. It has a very hydrating finish at first application and really provides some nice moisture during that time. But no worries it sets to a soft, satiny finish that doesn’t cling to drier areas or accentuate pores. I don’t need a lot of coverage and this works more as a CC Cream would as it corrects your skin tone, evens it out, brightens, and creates a more uniformed, flawless finish. There are SO many BB Creams on the market at the moment that promises to brighten but the shades are such duller beige shades that they end up making my complexion look lackluster and they cover up any natural glow my skin already has. Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream provides the luminosity and brightening that my duller skin needs.

Light and Medium
The formula supposedly targets dark spots as well to reduce their appearance over time but I’ve been using it for about three weeks now and can’t say if that is working or not as of yet as fading dark spots is sometimes a full time job and requires constant use to see any real difference.
Overall, Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream is probably one of the nicest BB Creams I’ve run across in drugstores and it does in fact gain a Muse Approval. I think that the sheerness of the product will prove a little disappointing but overall, this is a winner for those who desire a more weightless lighter coverage that perfects but doesn’t necessarily conceal!
It’s available now at drugstores.
Muse Approved for this one.

Oily and no coverage
Everyone raves about BB creams, so I thought I'd try out the Garnier one is it's a well known brand and easy to find. I decided on the anti-ageing one to help with fine lines and I chose the light colour as the darker one seemed like it may be too dark for me. I wanted a product that I could put on when I'm not wearing makeup, but still made me look a little more polished. My skin isn't all that oily, but I do get a little oil in the T-zone. This BB cream was totally hopeless. It gave me NO coverage, even after a second application. What's worse, it made my skin feel greasy from the moment I put it on and became more greasy as the day progressed. Such a shame as I had high hopes. It is possible the darker colour may have given me better coverage, but I'm not willing to try it as the greasy texture doesn't make it an attractive proposition. The search for a good BB cream/tinted moisturiser continues.

poor colour and wear
I bought this product in the light shade and it made me look like as pale as a dead person. So I tried it in the medium shade and it made me took Mediterranean. They seriously need a few more shades to choose from. The product would provide reasonable coverage until about lunch time, then it would 'fade' and look as if I wasn't wearing any make up as my blemishes would show through. The product is so useless that I threw both shades away before finishing the tubes.

Not cracked up to what it seems
As a first time user of BB cream I went for this brand because of price and wish I hadn't . There are too many chemicals and after first use my face is stinging , my eyes are watering and I definitely don't look younger! I guess you get what you pay for. Would not recommend to others .

Is this cream or soap?
BB cream is the worst cream ever invented. It is so rough on your skin it makes you look older. it has a terrible finish that constantly rubs against your skin like soap. It is not a miracle skin perfecter and just ages you. So why spend -$20-$50 on soap???

Worst BB Cream Invented
I have tried nearly all types of BB creams and Western BB creams seems like a total failed invention. This BB cream in particular was dark ( in fair ), no coverage and oily. The BB cream in asian brands such as Missha, Etude house have full coverage BB creams, creating glowing and airbrushed faces. Seriously Garnier BB cream is such a disaster!!!! You wont notice the difference until you try an authentic BB cream, this is like a replica of korean cosmetics :(

Natural and perfect finish
I’m very particular with the products I use on my skin and in fact, I don’t use them a lot. But Garnier BB Cream is something I really love and take with me for everyday wear. I use the Light/Clair tone, which blends perfectly on my skin and just appears natural - but of course my skin looks smoother with it. Can’t complain about the price either.
Be careful with storage though and make sure to secure the cap, as it is quite runny. Believe me, you wouldn’t really want to open your bag to a mess. Also, it can be greasy on your skin so you may need to apply loose powder. Been using this for about a year now and I don’t think I’ll be switching to another product anytime soon.

Makes my skin look beautiful...but there's just one thing
This BB cream has a great color and finish, stays on all day and moisturizes well. The color is so natural and my skin has actually improved from using it. The ONLY reason I wouldn't give it five stars is the smell. The fragrance is really intense, and I find that I use less of the product than I would like, simply because the smell would be overpowering. Have tried their fragrance-free formula but it doesn't have the same finish.

Makeup bag must have!
Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector is the product I would take with me if I was told I had to choose only one item of makeup!
It is also a great time saver. I dont lug around my mineral powder, primer, conceler, etc with me on travels. It does a pretty decent job of giving me an even skin tone while still looking natural.
Amazing product! I have so far recommended it to anyone that asks.

i have normal medium coloured skin and i think this product is great for on the go. for when u don't have time to pull out a brush, primer and foundation. this products leaves you with dewy skin, has a medium coverage and has a bonus of spf 15 to protect your face from the sun.

Amazing, best bb cream
I have combination skin - very sensitive eyes, dry cheeks and oily in my t-zone.
I used the sensitive one and I love it. Has amazing texture and blends easily. (I found the best way is to have a bit of water on your face - a few drops - and you blend it in in the water and it gives an airbrushed look ) very natural looking, excellent price. Covers redness and evens skin tone, which is something I suffer quite badly from. Instead of concealer, I use a little bit of the BB cream on my finger and blend it in to my problem areas. The medium colour is perfect for me. After I wore this and washed it off with my face wash, my face felt so moisturised and soft and it wasn't red like it usually is after I wash of other foundations/BB creams. Just overall best product. Gives a mattifying effect however if you suffer from an oily face, use a small amount of powder on top. Gives me the most natural flawless look and I don't know where I would be without it.

Highly Perfumed
This product is highly perfumed so I would not recommend this product if you suffer from sensitive skin, eyes, or hey fever. Everything else about this product is fine except for the smell.

Not good, don't buy
After using it for 2 days my skin starting breaking out in little pimples! It doesn't have great coverage and it has too many chemicals that make your skin tingle. Also it is a bit sticky from the sunscreen ingredient.

Garnier Skin Perfector Matte BB Cream
Extremely drying even with an application of moisturiser applied beforehand.
There is a strong perfume to the cream.
The tube always squirts out excess cream when you remove the cap. I have even stored it upside down but its unavoidable. Alot of product has been wasted this way,

Not good if you have sensitive skin
I must say I was happy with the price, the consistency and coverage of the cream but unfortunately my sensitive skin would sting and tingle as soon as I applied this cream. Thinking the strong fragrance maybe? I would recommend it if you don't have sensitive skin as the coverage was pretty good. Going to try something with less chemicals and fragrance.

Garnier BB Cream MSP - Oily / Combination Skin Review
Well well well. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with this product. After 2 years of using all sorts of Korean / high-end BB, CC and tinted moisturisers, this supermarket-bought BB cream is the winner of the lot. All the previous BB, CC and tinted creams I have used have always been too thick, heavy or greasy, and I was looking for something a bit more matte and this BB cream by Garnier has delivered. I tried a sample at my local Priceline and loved the way it felt on the back of my hand. Since it was only around $14 I thought why not give it a shot and I'm glad I did.
Just on a side note, I have tried the Sensitive Skin version of this BB Cream and did not like it at all. Greasy, streaky, coverage not as good as this version and does not last. Oily by midday, coverage gone by 2pm. Felt too heavy on skin.
PROS:
- Doesn't have any offensive fragrance
- Provides ample coverage, can be layered with no 'balling' issues like other tinted creams. 2 layers is perfect for a full coverage effect
- Covers red marks instantly
- Keeps my enlarged cheek pores in check
- Dries into a powder-like matte finish and stays dry all day (I have dry / combination skin)
- Colour oxidises a little to match my skin tone in a couple of hours
- Has SPF 15 (or so it claims!)
- Because of this cream's mattifying effect, the coverage actually 'sets' and dries and doesn't move around and disappear
- Good price for 40ml of product
- Great for tropical / summer weather
- Doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything on my face
CONS:
- Waaay too runny, the nozzle gets messy after a while. I have to stand mine up upside down in my bathroom cabinet
- For the medium shade, the colour is a bit 'pink' for me, I have a yellow undertone (NC42 in Mac) but like I said above, it tends to oxidise
- Takes a bit of effort to clean from the skin using foamy cleansers. I use an oil cleansing method which works better

Works well
I was introduced to this product by my beauty therapist, I must say I do like it, it's light, doesn't clog my pores, doesn't give me pimples, covers my pink areas, and I can put a lot on and it's okay. It can be a little difficult to blend but I just keep mixing it in.
I put my powder on straight after and it's all good.
Affordable, light coverage
Can be a little shiny

Ok but difficult to blend
I use this for several months. My skin is quite dry, has some fine wrinkles and is a bit patchy with regards to colouration but not so much that other people notice- thus cream works well as a moisturiser but seems to streak a bit (ie doesn't blend well when applying with my fingers) and I've had a couple of people point out streaks to me so you have to spend extra time to blend well! I can sleep in this without my skin feeling dry in the morning but there's really only minimal coverage, you would definitely not use this in place of your foundation! (The Rimmel one did a better job but this one has an orange undertone) Eventually I had to change to another cream because it just didn't provide any coverage and rubs off onto clothes a bit too easily. It's cheap though and often on sale.
Moisturises well, inexpensive
Didn't provide much coverage for skin imperfections

Disappointed with product
I have patchy skin, some dark spots and broken veins on cheeks. It didn't cover unless it was layered on pretty thick ie 3 times, it stayed looking greasy and needed mineral foundation over it. I get a better result with Nivea tinted moisturiser which is also cheaper. I wouldn't buy it again, and it has put me off buying an expensive one in case that's just the same. Will stick with Nivea.
Looked greasy on skin and didn't really cover broken veins and patchy skin

Lovely to use, looks good.
I used moisturiser first then applied the BB cream. It does hide flaws and gives a lovely glow to the face, also inexpensive. Does not really hide freckles or dark marks but a coverstick used first would fix that. I than used mineral powder over the top but does not really need it.
Easy to use, covers nicely.

Amazing product
I never normally write a review on beauty products like this. I don't wear make up and usually use a very expensive moisturiser. I was recommended this product by a friend and I saw the price and right away thought, why not give it a go.. it's not expensive, in fact it's affordable for me. I have horrible skin, it's dry and drives me crazy because it's always been a battle to find the right moisturiser for my skin, my skin never usually responds to a lot of moisturisers I have bought in the past. I use to have to hide my skin under make up sometimes & even than it would be an ongoing nightmare because my skin would be flaky and horrible. This BB cream has been a miracle for me, for someone who has always suffered with horrible dry skin, this has to be the best thing I have ever tried. Tinted moisturiser which is the perfect colour and makes my skin glow. I am in love with this product. And for the price, it's worth giving it ago... I finally found something my skin loves without the expensive price tag. Good bye to my make up and expensive creams. Garnier you have done great with this product, My skin loves you for it :) I am truly amazed with this product, it does what it says.
inexpensive, does what it says, my skin is clearer(perfect my redness), my skin is glowing, looks and feels amazing
